Veteran George Kent (26) races with Sunoco R.o.C Modified rookie Kevin Timmerman (17). Kent went on to win his third career Race of Champions victory. Timmerman wound up 18th at the stripe.

 

J.R. Kent (16) and Ted Christopher (00) charge down the lightning fast Oswego Speedway homechute. Both talented drivers are looking for their first R.o.C win. Christopher finished second and J.R. Kent ended up in fifth place.

 

Friday night Mini Stock action saw a great battle for the lead between the two winners. John Eiss (75) was the front wheel driver winner in the number and Mike Verweir (6v)was the rear wheel drive winner.

George Kent and a happy crew after earning over $16,000 for his third Sunoco Race of Champions Modified 200 win.

 

Todd Smith was the Street/Pure Stock winner last year and is now one of the top Rookie contenders on the Sunoco Race of Champions Modified Tour. 

Rich Giannino was the winner of the Late Model/Super Stock 75 lapper.

 

Dan Abold was the Pro Late Model Sunoco Race of Champions winner.

Mike Bond and crew were thrilled after winning the first ever NORA Race of Champions Limited Super Modified event.

Kevin Eckerich became the first Canadian Sunoco Race of Champions winner in the Sportsman Modified event. Eckerich will run in both the Sportsman and Modified events this year.
